Brian Anderson’s 15 years of experience working with private and public-development organizations spans across multiple states. He first led the Urban Development and Legislative Affairs for the Lansing Economic Development Corporation in Michigan, followed by the Middle Michigan Development Corp. spearheading local initiatives in rural central Michigan. 

For the past eight years, Brian has led the economic development initiatives at WVPA, serving on economic development boards for local and regional groups throughout WVPA’s territory. He earned his BS in Urban and Regional Planning at Michigan State University and his MBA at Northwood University. He also received the Economic Development Finance Professional certification.
